Yummy Smorrebrod

These open-faced sandwiches look scrumptious. The flavor is quite light and bright.

The Art Of The Danish Open-Face Sandwich

An assortment of Danish open-face sandwiches, or smorrebrod, on a white platter
Homemade Remoulade

Makes 1 1/4 cup

1/3 cup mayonnaise

2/3 cup creme fraiche or sour cream

2 tablespoons finely diced cornichons

1 tablespoon capers, coarsely chopped

2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

1/2 teaspoon curry powder

Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
